Introduction Call

Upon signing up with Ordo, we’ll do a quick 30-minute call to assess the unique needs of your school. During this call, we’ll ask questions like:

  • What is the community like?
  • What is important to parents?
  • What did lunch look like before Ordo?
  • What allergy considerations should we have when building a menu?

We’ll also inquire about your school’s cafeteria and kitchen (if you have one) to determine what equipment will be needed and the most efficient way to distribute lunch. Once we’ve gathered the necessary information, we’re able to hit the ground running.

Menu Creation

We’ll start by vetting vendors in your local area to identify adequate options for your school. Once we’ve done that, we’ll create menu options that accommodate allergy needs, preferences, and student ages. Then, we’ll coordinate with your school and our vendor(s) to finalize a menu and publish it accordingly.

Parent Onboarding

After we’ve created the perfect menu for your school, we’ll share materials with you to help parents, students, and staff get signed up with Ordo. Including an excerpt for newsletters, a video walkthrough, and other resources to help them create an account with Ordo. Lastly, we’ll schedule reminder emails and text messages to order school lunches on a weekly basis.
