We are excited to announce that Ordo will be providing food service for Larkspur-Corte Madera School District in Marin County, in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, LCMSD is home to close to 1,200 students across several schools. They’re known for top-tier academics, having been named a U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School, ranking in the top 10% of California’s public school systems. It’s a place where dedicated staff and involved families all contribute to create a vibrant, inspiring school community.
Larkspur had been using another local provider for their breakfast and lunch services at their schools. Unfortunately, the quality was subpar, and the meals were mostly made up of processed foods. They had heard about the success of Ross Valley School District's newest food service provider and how their participation in their lunch program had doubled since they had switched the year before. So, they reached out to that company to learn more about how they could do the same: Ordo.
Our team is looking forward to providing our signature fresh, homestyle meals to the LCMSD community. By using quality ingredients and preparing them in local kitchens, we're upgrading the school lunch experience with healthier, more delicious food.
